My PNG Exam Results 2023: When to Expect Results

The National Department of Education in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is currently cleansing exam data for the 2023 Grade 10 and Grade 12 exams. This is a routine process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results. Once the data cleansing process is complete, the results will be uploaded to the My PNG Exam Results website (www.mypngexamresults.com).

Important Dates 2023

The following are important dates related to the release of the 2023 Grade 10 and Grade 12 exam results and the selection process:

• 4th - 8th December 2023: Grade 11 National Selection (Announced by General Education Services Division, NDoE)
• 12th - 15th December, 2023: NOAS Grace Period (Released by DHERST)
• 21st December 2023: Launching of 2023 DHERST Grade 12 Selection for 2024 Academic Year (Released by DHERST)

Grade 11 & DHERST Selections Impacts on Results Release Dates

The release dates for Grade 10 and Grade 12 exam results have important implications for the selection process. MSD must meet the deadline set by its sister division, General Education Services, and Higher Education Department, DHERST.

Grade 11 selectors need the Grade 10 results before the 4th of December 2023 to begin the selection process for the 2024 academic year. Similarly, DHERST needs the Grade 12 results for selection, but more importantly, students need their results between the 12th and 15th of December 2023 to adjust their preferences during the NOAS Grace Period.

Therefore, the exam results must be released before the selections begin. Any delay in the release of the exam results will have ripple effects and cause delays in the release of the Grade 11 selection lists and DHERST Grade 12 Selection.

2. Enter your School Leaver's File (SLF) number and name

3. Click on the "Check Results" button to login

The Department of Education (DoE), through the General Education Services (GES) Division, has officially announced the dates for the Grade 11 National Selection for the 2024 academic year. The selection will take place from December 4th to the 8th of 2023, with the following schedule:

• National Schools of Excellence Grade 11 Selections: December 4th - 5th (Two Days Only)
• All Provincial Secondary Schools Grade 11 Selections: December 6th - 8th (Three Days Only)

The online selection process will align with the previous year's benchmark, as detailed in the Education Secretary's Circular #3/2020. Principals of Secondary Schools and National Schools of Excellence (NSOE) will be part of the selection panel and are required to have laptops with internet connectivity.

Selection Venues and Requirements

The selection venues are as follows:

• Diowai Conference Room at the Port Moresby National School of Excellence: GES, MSD, GD, ICT Technical Team, and NSOE Principals
• Recommended venues in provincial capitals: In collaboration with principals of secondary schools and guidance officers

Principals are instructed to bring the following to the selection venue:

• Total number of students to be selected
• Boarding spaces
• Gender requirements
• Grade 10 SLFS E-Copies (manual copies will not be accepted)

Principals will receive passwords, internet data, links, and regional hotline/help desk information by the 5th of December 2023 to facilitate the online selection.

Instructions for Students Selected to NSOE

Students selected to NSOE will be required to travel to their respective schools. Top academic students will be designated to pursue the STEM curriculum at NSOE. The SLF (School Leaver Forms) must reach GES by November 2023.
