Create JAMB Registration Profile
The Board advises the 2024 UTME candidates to immediately create their JAMB profile (creation of profile code) prior to the start of the 2024 JAMB registration.
JAMB advised that it is likely to be a 'bottleneck' effect at the last minute when everyone rushed to create their profile.
Therefore, candidates must create their JAMB profile - the creation of the JAMB profile code - so that they do not have to face any restraints at the start of registration.
How to Get JAMB Profile Using Code
You'll need your phone to send an SMS to generate a unique profile code before creating the JAMB profile. You'll receive a 10-characters profile code which you'll need to create your JAMB profile.
Here is how to get the profile code:
- 1: Open the SMS pad on your phone.
- 2: Enter your NIN in this format - NIN (one space) enter your 11-digit NIN number, see the *example.
- 3: Send to 55019 or 66019
For *example, if your NIN number is 12345678912 must enter NIN 12345678912 and hit send.
How to avoid error messages?
If you do not get the SMS text, please be patient. Wait for the SMS alert, your 10-character profile code will be sent to your phone.
