You will be able to download the PDF of the Grade 11 selection lists for all the schools in Jiwaka, Simbu, Eastern Highlands, Western Highlands, Southern Highlands, Hela, and Enga on this page when the PDF lists are released online.

2025 Grade 11 selections list for HIGHLANDS Region

The 2025 Grade 11 selections list for HIGHLANDS Region is the listing of the 2023 Grade 10 Students who are selected to the secondary schools in the following provinces:

• Jiwaka
• Simbu
• Eastern Highlands
• Western Highlands
• Southern Highlands
• Hela
• Enga

In 2021, the Education Department released the final Grade 11 Selection Lists for 2022 two weeks after the Selection Committee finalized the selection process. However, in 2022, the selection list was released earlier on December 19th, due to the decision to conduct the selection process in the provinces instead of travelling to Port Moresby. This streamlined the process and allowed for faster dissemination of the Grade 11 selection lists.

The selection committee in each province entered the selection data online, and the final lists were submitted to Port Moresby for confirmation and publication. This year, the selection process will be conducted entirely online, further streamlining the process and ensuring timely release of the selection lists. • Update#7: 21.12.2023 - The Education Department website is VERY SLOW. When downloading the Grade 11 Selection List, click once and wait for the list to download onto your device. Do not click too many times or refresh the page.

• Update#6: 20.12.2023 - Grade 11 Selection Lists for HIGHLANDS Region 2024 OUT NOW - Released Today. SEE THE DOWNLOAD LINKS BELOW.

• Update#5: 14.12.2023 Do you think the Education Department should include the dates for the publication of Grade 10 and 12 examination results and Grade 11 selection on the Education Department Calendar? Let us know what you think here.
• Update#4: 14.12.2023: Some Secondary School principals have released the Grade 11 selection list 2024 on their Notice Boards. Some lists are doing rounds on Social Media, too. That's fine, but make sure that those selection lists are OFFICIALLY SIGNED by the Education Secretary. If the secretary's signature is not on the lists (and dated), regard it as an UNOFFICIAL list.
• Update#3: 10.12.2023: PNG Insight understands that the selections are still in progress, no announcement has been made as to the release of the 2024 Grade 11 selection list for the HIGHLANDS region yet.
• Update#2: 06.12.2023 - Grade 10 and Grade 12 results to come out on the 8th of December 2023
• Update#1: 01.12.2023 - General Education Services (GES) officially announced the dates for the Grade 11 National Selection for 2024

• UPDATE#3 - 7th DEC 2022: The 2022 Grade 10 exam results will come out on the 9th of December 2022 at 11AM.

• UPDATE#1 - 1st DEC 2022: The Grade 11 selection will take place between Dec 5th and Dec 9th - however, the Grade 10 exam results are not released during the time of UPDATE#1
